Station Finder

CrossCountry are currently in the process of developing a December 2017 timetable collaboratively with the Department for Transport with the objective to better align capacity to meet demand and reduce overcrowding.

Our vision is to:

  • Improve the experience for CrossCountry passengers by reducing the percentage of people standing for all or part of their journeys, whilst continuing to grow overall customer numbers
  • Improve the economic value of CrossCountry to taxpayers; in the short term as a franchise that enables quality connectivity between major UK regions outside of London and, in the longer term, grows the value of the franchise for future government re-letting
  • Ensure that the CrossCountry network evolves to provide a balance of service appropriate to the markets and communities it serves
  • Improve the environmental credentials of the franchise by aligning capacity to demand in the best possible way to reduce unnecessary fuel emissions
  • Develop an operationally robust timetable that delivers a reliable and punctual train service

We have now begun consultation which will run until Sunday 2 January 2017.
